Thunderbirds w/ 8 ide's

anyone know of any good motherboards in atx that support 1.1 gig thunerbirds and have 8 ide/eide controllers. i was thinking the asus av7, but it oonly has support for 4.

also are thunderbirds both slot and socket a? ive seen them as both....

You can put 8 IDE devices on the A7V.
2 ATA100 IDE ports X 2 devices each = 4 Devices
2 ATA66 IDE ports X 2 devices each = 4 Devices
that's 8 total

Well hold on now!!!
In the link you posted it says A7V Pro. In your first post it says just A7V. The A7V (regular) is the full board with all 8 IDEs (4 of them are ATA100) and 7 USBs.
The A7V Pro is the watered-down version with no ATA100 support and only 4 IDE ports. It also only has 2 USB ports.

Most people when they are talking about the A7V, they are talking about the A7V (regular) not the Pro version.
