No, actually in is a Leadtec (or whatever) it was "reported" to be most friendly to be unlocked, but it is unavailabel at this point of time, we'll wait.

..this is very useful and helpful place for information...

Agreed. At that price, even if it didn't unlock it would be a great deal. *shrugs*

Ok, ok, eVGA it is, whata difference, as long as it is 6800 me thinking it is an ok deal, and I am very sceptical about rebates, sometimes I get some, sometimes none, so when I am looking at "rebate" claim I am buying the thing with the thought that it is a price I will pay for it, and if there will be some back, it would be nice, otherwize that's the price.

Newegg is great about MIR. Just make sure you file the paperwork and you will get the rebate. Actually doing the paperwork properly is where most people fail when it comes to rebates. Be anal about it and make sure you get your money is the best advice I can give about rebates.

""doing the paperwork properly is where most people fail""

Thanks for the complement, at the same time I do everything the same every time I send the rebate out, the baddest place to get the rebate back is "OnRebate" that TigerDirect.com is working with, I never shop there already, bad place to do business with, return policy sucks big time, rebates take whole buncha time to circle around different websites and stuff like that.

Usually when it is straight through the company like this one with eVGA it is working fine from my past experience, it is just when there is a third party involved I had "no money back" guaranty.

Agree with Tigerdirect rebates - SUCK@SS. GL with the rebate and the card!

I like the new Staples Easy Rebates. Simply type in the number off your rebate receipt and click submit. No cutting UPC's and no mailing anything. Only problem is since you don't cut UPC's, they won't process it for 30 days to make sure you don't return the item.

That's pretty cool - somebody needed to do a better rebate system! Actually, they've been avoiding better rebate systems - it's a sale without having to reduce the price for most people who can't/won't do the rebates right!
