Hi everyone,
I'm a total illiterate when it comes to PCs and their parts, so I'm after some advice.
I build my rig about 5 years ago, and I find it starts struggling more and more. I don't do heavy gaming, but even games like TW Warhammer 3 and ARMA Reforger are starting to struggle a bit.

This is what I currently have:
Motherboard: B450 Tomahowk Max
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-core, 3600Mhz
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5700
RAM: 16GB (can't seem to figure out exactly which one though)

Running windows 11 pro
Main monitor is a Xiaomi Mi curved 34" and an MSI MP2412 as a secondary.

What are my best options to get some new life into this system (as stated before, I don't need a killer set-up for super heavy gaming, just something that lets me comnfortably play the above mentioned games)? The things that I've thought about are:
- reinstalling windows
- upgrading parts (if so, which ones and with what?)
- building a whole new system from scratch

Love to hear some ideas!

Thanks everyone,
Yarnev

If you want to build a new system from scratch, what is the maximum you can spend?

Are you in the USA?

Where do you want to buy parts from? Amazon? Newegg? A local store?
Hi!
I'm in Australia. Parts will most likely come from different online stores. Budget would sit around $2000aud (let's say no more than $1500USD) so I can build something that will serve me for many years to come, but if I can postpone that kind of expense by upgrading what I have that would be the preferred route.

You might need to add a psu to any upgrade mix.
