Timing difference and dual channel performance

I have a MSI P965 Neo MoBo with the following RAM configuration:

Dimm 1 and 3 OCZ Gold PC6400 5-5-5-15 and in Dimm 2 and 4 OCZ Gold PC6400 5-5-5-12.

Is this configuration hurting my dual channel optimal performance?

I did order a second pair with 5-5-5-15 timing but I received 5-5-5-12 instead.

I experience an occasional stutter in my gaming experience (FS9 and FSX) that was not there before.

A stutter won't be because of memory performance, since we're talking in terms of nanoseconds for RAM. More likely you've got some sort of background process that is doing something slow (like accessing the hard disk) every now and then. You might want to try out a utility called "process explorer" (just google it).

Thanx for the reply.
I always disable unneeded processes before I launch FS9 or FSX since I know they will have an adverse impact on the performance.
I was just wondering if the difference in -15 and -12 impacted dual channel performance; appearantly not.
