Tips And Advice On My Cable Management So Far?

Hi there,

This is my first time doing proper Cable Management and I was wondering how I did... Can anyone tell me what I could improve upon and, any tips for the future in the build? e.g. GPU Cable, SATA etc.

some rubber grommets in those holes where the cables come through would help a lot

and i use paint on insulation to cover the ends of the wires where the black stops short so you dont see the coloured wires

other than that just take your time doing the cables to get a tidy look

Ooh, didn't know you could buy Grommets, know where I can get some? Also, what Paint do you use, is there a specific type or just general? Thanks.

yes can buy grommets

its blue magic brush on electrical tape--though there are other makers as well

so not technically a paint more sort of a paint/brush on rubber stuff suitable for electrical connections

where to buy stuff will depend what country you are in

the brush on tape was hard to find here in the uk

but widely available if you are in the usa

and i usually use black sata cables

unless the build has red or yellow accents then use the colour to match that

I can't seem to find Grommets anywhere except one place, but it would be a tenner for three and £20 Min. order :/ Also, where did you buy that paint? I'm in UK too haha!

i got the blue magic on ebay

some guy who specialises in selling stuff here that you normally can only get in the usa

was £12 for a little tin but it goes a very long way i use it for other stuff as well like when you join wires especially in awkward places where heat shrink

would be difficult

for the cable holes

can always just use any old black foam or rubber sheet for art and crafts sort of stuff you can probably find in poundland lol

still better than having the holes heres the sort of do it yourself idea
