Any UK Dell users joined tiscali dial up anytime and had problems with
accelerator not being recognised?

Several problems-
1. Lost the accelerator at the same time as message "Page not found"
2. Followed the manual switch on of accelerator - did not work
3. Reinstalled did not work
4. Cleaned temp files & cookies andre installed for 2nd time and it
appears to work.
Why?
5. Fiinal Question - what is the best way to connect to the ISP - cia the
ISP shortcut/ via start/connect to? As I think this has an effect on the
way the ISP runs?

The fact its a Dell machine does not make any difference, some of the things
you could try are turn off any anti virus/ security before you install the
tiscali software, that could be stopping it if it is then once its installed
re activate your AV /IS

Is this Tiscali Broadband or Dial up ?
