TItan benchmarks are out.

Well, even if that graph is true (which I highly doubt, since it's 3D Mark '11), this only makes my thoughts on it even more plausible. And my thoughts on Titan is that it'll be promoted, advertised and marketed as something like "GTX 690 for people who can't afford GTX 690, for highest edge of mainstream price segment".

To Ezio: Ignore Murissokah, he's a crybaby kid who doesn't get jack about things, at all.

They show it in the article linked in the first page.

The architecture of titan is very different and also obscure,I can't notice where the GPCs and Raster engines are or have they implented a raster engine in each SMX thereby boosting its pixel filrate higher than the GTX 690.

I'm pretty curious as to how well will it be able to explore the increased 384-bit bandwith, as opposed to Kepler's 256. Nvidia has held back on that increase historically, while ATI usually went for higher memory bandwith. There must be changes on their SMXs to justify this increase.

They might, but realistically this card has nothing whatsoever to do with mainstream. The sweet spot is usually defined as $150-200 or thereabouts, this card costs over four times as much.

At this moment 10000 'Titan's have just been released and no one seems to have found one.Until this lurking monsters are caught and exposed naked by some trusted reviewers,we won't be getting proper answers.
However I came across this edited picture.

It is full of hutthurt kids, Its still fun but the constant bitching and moaning from these kids gets old lol :pt1cable:

That's nice, man. Seems like Titan will be gravitating around GTX 690 performance. That's good for a single GPU card, but it does consume 250W, and that is for those who can afford it. I am looking foward to those specifics too, to know whether or not Nvidia will upset the balance with their next lineup.

This made me cancel my order again. So I hope that toms has the review tonight and that stores like NCIX, newegg, etc have the card by 1am EST and it better be priced at 500-600 otherwise it's HD 7970 GHz Ed CF for me. Can't go wrong with 7970GHz @$400 each.

Even if they had lots in stock they still can't justify a price higher than $550 but they will try.

They really don't.And out of all these rumors I heard somewhere that nvidia is preparing for another GK110 based GPU and will be rolling it out as GTX 780 when 700 series comes out.So maybe they are doing some sort of prototype testing and watching how consumers react to a similar beast.

Well... may be !

So there's a slim hope of this card being sold at $540 and have the GTX680 move to $470 and GTX670 at 410?

Nope, 🙁 Not a chance, they said it would be like a collector's item. You may rather hope the 780 comes out in proper volumes.

True. Hence the call for it to be priced between $500-600 then some of us will consider getting 1 now and another in a month or so. Let's hope that they have tons in stock and not limited supply.

I can afford it ASAP even 2-3 but no way am I going to spend an grand or even $800 on a single card when I know I could get 2 cards that will last me 3 years and perform close/similar to that said card. better price this right.

LOL you realize that the Titan is basically a Tesla K20 chip, with a disabled SMX unit and half FP precision and with Geforce Drivers. A Telsa k20 cards costs thousands!! So no that pricing scheme will not happen.

Why the heck would you want to do that?? Just wait till Maxwell, the Titan is nowhere near as fast as two 7970's!

Its a limited production man a niche product, pricing is going to be high and its going to sell no matter what.

You should do a little more research nvidia was never able to release a full 15 SMX GPU the K20 has 2496 cores and K20X has 2688 cores similar to titan but at lower speeds(732Mhz).
The titan has higher clock speeds and slightly more single/double precision compute power than any K20.
