To Catleap or not to Catleap?

I just ordered an MSI GTX 670 OC to upgrade from my HD 6850 and am now looking for a monitor upgrade. I currently have a ViewSonic 1920x1080.

I've read a lot into the Korean 2560x1440 Catleap monitors and some people love them but I still remain skeptical.

I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with these and if they're worth the risk? Gaming at that resolution sounds awesome but I have some questions:

1. Would my 670 be able to handle high FPS at this resolution?
2. Is there a NOTICEABLE difference gaming at this resolution?
3. Is the Catleap worth the risk?
4. If the Catleap and/or this resolution isn't worth it or not noticeable, should I just go with a high end 1920x1080?

My primary use will be for gaming and I'm looking for something with really vibrant colors and a crisp display.

I've seen this Asus suggested before and it seems pretty nice:

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I'm at somewhat of an impass at what to do.
Thanks to anyone in the community who can help!

I've been continuing to look and I found a couple other monitors that seem to get fairly good reviews:

If anyone could please point me in the right direction that'd be awesome!
