[citation][nom]deftonian[/nom]I'm so used to PC gaming that I find it very difficult to play any console style games on my phone. It's not difficult as in "hard" but it's difficult as in it annoys me because the control functionality is so far off from what I'm used to. I keep my phone games limited to just your basic time killing simple control games such as Angry Birds, Ski Safari, Cut the Rope, etc. Maybe that's just the old man and PC enthusiast in me[/citation]
Same thing here. Mobile gaming is good if you're in a waiting room, on the bus, etc. But I don't see the point in games such as Dead Trigger, since they drain a lot of battery and I need my phone when I'm out and about. And there's no point in playing them at home since computer is right next to me.
[citation][nom]hoofhearted[/nom]I find Android to be a barrage of FTP, fremium and other crap. If they would put better production quality into games and charge a price, they would have me. Unfortunately, this crap trend seems to be making its way to the PC gaming market. I would much rather pay 60 bucks for a quality game than get nickel and dimed by a free game.[/citation]
Not really. Games like Angry Birds, Temple Run, Cut the Rope, etc. are good games that don't shove freemium down your throat. There are also a lot of casual games like chess, sudoku, etc. But a lot of games like Dead Trigger, Rage of Bahmut, etc are freemium, but the majority isn't.
