Do you know what this week is? Of course you know what this week is; you’d have to be in another galaxy if you didn’t. Perhaps one far, far away. It’s STAR WARS WEEK!

But you’re not getting Battlefront. No, because Battlefront was kind of a pile of turd, by most accounts. Instead, we’ve got ten (10!) copies of FTL: Faster Than Light! Pilot your own dinky little Millennium Falcon clone in a race across the galaxy, culminating in a showdown with a mothership that is not quite a Death Star!

In the spirit of the week, let’s talk Star Wars! What is your favorite Star Wars game, on any platform? Haven’t played any Star Wars games? Well, then what are your favorite space-themed games?

Winners will be selected randomly from among all eligible participants. No real action is required, simply participate in the discussion :)

My personal favorite happens to be Starfox 64. Fox is way cooler than Han Solo. Han can’t do any barrel rolls.

Contest will run until 12 PM EST on Friday, December 18. That’s 12:00 noon. Winners will receive their prize as a Steam gift; a Steam account is required to receive and to play the game. One entry per user. Winners will be selected randomly from among eligible entries. Attempts to cheat the system will result in automatic disqualification.

Be sure to join our Steam group!

We’re always looking for volunteers to write community reviews for games, so if you’re interested, please reach out to me for more detail

To be honest, by most favorite Star Wars game is the N64 Racer game "Star Wars Episode I: Racer". It gave me the most enjoyment for the most time possible. There was another game on Playstation that was in first person and had a storm trooper on the cd art but I cannot remember the name for the life of me, the first level took place on what is (I think) "Episode IV" of the series and killing storm troopers if I remember correctly, that was pretty cool when I was 4-6. Battlefront II was okie dokie too.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (aka KOTOR) I&II.
Amazing mind blowing story, and DnD rules <3.
It is my favorite Star Wars game I have played and I have played a lot of them.
Also before KOTOR appears my favorite was Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi in SNES.

I have played a Star Wars game before. I could not remember its entire name, I played it on a game cafe. I was a 1st yr high schooler at that time (that was 11 years ago). It was an arena type and it was hella fun! I could throw the lightsaber and then control it with The Force. Such times

My favourite star wars game was "star wars: battlefront renegade squadron" (emphasis on that last part)
This is an old psp game, suspiciously similar to the modern battlefront, except it had space battles and galactic conquest, both awesome game modes. I honestly found this game so so, but I only ever played it with a LAN with my brother, and some of our fails where hilarious. My favourite move was getting the longest space ship in the game, flying straight into the enemy hanger, and parking right across their main hatch, then laughing my socks off as the A.I. enemies tried to take off and just exploded, leaving my ship unharmed due to a nice exploit. It was only a matter of keeping my brother away, because his favourite move was getting the smallest ship and just hovering in my hanger, instantly murdering me with OP missiles the moment I spawned. We had some good times with this game, and still do.
I think that if I win, I will probably share this game with him, because it looks like something he would really enjoy (he is also short on games, because he uses an old laptop that is no match for my new gaming pc). Anyway, good luck to everyone.

Lego Star Wars. The first one. That game was one of the first games I played and it was great! That was probably 8 years ago, so it might not be as good as I remembered...

Star Wars: Battlefront II, hands down my all-time favorite Star Wars game. I've no doubt sunk over a thousand hours into the game, getting every perk (except rockets and snipers) to Legendary so they are all passive.

I bought it on PC only this year just so I can try the overhaul mod that adds new classes and the old maps.

I actually own FTL already, but I'm mainly entering so I can get a gift copy for a friend :)

I already own FTL so If you draw my name please pass it to someone else I just wanted to add my 2 cents. Most people have probably never heard of yet alone played this one but Star Wars episode 1 Jedi Power Battles for the dreamcast. Looking back it wasn't all that great but it still managed to bring many hours of enjoyment.

I'm going to go with Star War Episode 1: Racer only because I put more time in that game than the others. My buddies and I would commit to an all nighter and just sit there pod racing all night. What a hoot!

Easily Knights of the Old Republic. That being said, I sunk a whole lot of time into Star Wars Galaxies with friends in the pre-NGE days... those are probably some of my fondest memories. They don't make 'em like they used to.

It's pretty cliche but my absolute favorites are Battlefront 2 and KOTOR. I can't even remember how many hours I've sunk into those years ago. Aside from those, my runner up would have to be Rogue Squadron.

I love space-themed games, and I couldn't pick a favorite. I've only played 2 Star Wars games, and the Force Unleashed was a really fun game to veg out on.

Star Wars game: the N64 pod racer is the only one I've ever played; I have a feeling this would be different if I'd played Knights of the Old Republic.

Space themed: Halo series, one of my favorite games

As an aside, FTL has the best music. I played it for several hours and then just left it on as I did chores. Fantastic soundtrack. I have the game btw; no need to enter me into the drawing.

Cheers

I have never played any Star Wars game.

I have played a couple of nice space themed games such as Alpha Centauri and Master of Orion II. I think you've been clued in on my favourite genre of game right there. :)

I just love space themed games, my favourite one is the Mass Effect Trilogy! According to me, IT IS BY FAR THE BEST GAME SERIES EVER! I heard there is a 4th one coming too. Cant wait to get back into action
