I appreciate the compliments on the cable management.

I am almost afraid to post this response as I don't want to change the subject of this thread. (With that being said I welcome the moderators to delete this post.)

But ...how I did it was by drilling 2 holes behind the motherboard and one to the side. After drilling I outfitted them with rubber grommets to protect the wires that would be fished through. That way I could have the input cables disappear behind the mobo.

I could comment more on this however it should probably be reserved for a different thread.

This is my new computer. Built by me 😀 My first computer build. Im very happy with how it turned out. No, its not perfect but I did have a budget and im a noob computer builder.

Here are the specs.

Cooler Master Elite 430 MID TOWER Case
Asus Sabertooth P67 Motherboard
Intel Core i5-2500k CPU
EVGA GTX 570 SC GPU
Corsair H60 Liquid CPU cooler
Corsair 750 PSU
G.Skill 2x 2GB Ram 1600
WD 500GB hard drive (will add additional hard drive if needed)
ASUS DVD-RW optical drive
ASUS 23" 1080P HD Monitor
5 120mm fans, (2 on H60 Radiator, 1 on door, 1 infront, 1 exhaust on top)
1 50mm Motherboard assist fan
Windows 7 64bit.

Total cost - $1500ish

Here are some pictures. Yes the cable management sucks but im using a non-modular PSU and a mid tower case so cable management is difficult.

i have the same csse...CM Elite 430
only issue i have with it is that is you use the front panel usb or if you have a headset plugged in, it blocks the disc bay from opening. other than that it is a great case.

Here's some pics of my build (upgraded to P67 in April) from my teardown last week. I'm in the process of watercooling and have a build log going in the Water Cooling section if anyone would like to see/follow.

Components in the pics:
Raven RV02 Case
i5-2500K (stock ATM) + Hyper 212+ (was push-pull; had to remove a fan to use the closest RAM slots)
Gigabyte P67-UD4-B3
MSI HD 6950 2GB Reference Model - Thanks Aznshinobi, awesome card
4x4GB 1600MHz CL9 G.Skill RAM
Corsair 950TX PSU (was originally for my 3x470s prior to my April upgrade)

I don't have my triple monitor set up with me (it's at college), but when I get back I plan on setting up 4 monitors - 3@1600x900 (Dell E2011H) and 1@1920x1080 (Dell P2411H).

The wiring sucked (too many PCI-E power cables!) but I should have a bit more room once I get the radiator installed properly, and a chance to start fresh. I was in a hurry when I upgraded the PSU and the platform because finals week was coming up at school and I needed to run codes on my computer for a few projects.
I'd like to get a modular 750-850W if possible...

Thanks tecmo. I loved the idea of the 90 degree motherboard mounting (I'm an engineer; had a nerdgasm when I saw it 😀).
I think my next build (whenever that may be) will probably be in a Fotress or Temjin case. I like the design of the FT02 maybe even more than the Raven's - it's almost like the Raven interior inside a Corsair 800D.

Here is the link to my first two builds: http://s1213.photobucket.com/albums/cc465/caddylover72/My%20first%20two%20computer%20builds/
(i didn't want to resize photos, this way was just easier). Both are sub $500 budget builds not really for gaming just general multipurpose. The green/black one was for my wife and the only game she plays is everquest II which isn't all that demanding.

Specs for my first ever build (cooler master case):
Case: Cooler Master elite 310 with 460 watt psu
HDD: Western digital blue 500Gb sata II
CD/DVD: Asus 24x burner
M/B: Asus M4A88TD-M USB 3.0 and sata III
GPU: Just the onboard HD 4250
Ram: A-data 2x2Gb DDR3 1600Mhz
CPU: AMD Athlon II x3 450 unlocked perfectly to 4 core, unfortunately this one was just an athlon and not a true phenom since it didn't have an L3 cache

I sold this PC shortly after I built it so I could pay for this next build, basically got about cost for it.

Specs for second build:
Case: Raidmax smilodon black with jusk 500w PSU which I replaced since at the time the price was the same without the PSU (I really dislike this case, for the price along with a never received but approved rebate there are just much better choices available) The wife likes it so oh well I guess
HDD: Western digital blue 250Gb sata III
CD/DVD: lite-on multi-burner
M/B: Asus M4A88TD-V EVO USB 3.0 and sata III full size ATX this time around
Ram: currently G skill 4x2Gb 1600Mhz DDR3 cas9 1.5v (two of these sticks will be transferred to my next build upon completion)
GPU: Palit HD 4850 512Mb purchased used since I was on such a tight budget
PSU: Antec BP550 semi-modular 80+ bought new from the egg on sale for $45 @ that time
CPU: Another AMD Athlon II x3 450 it does unlock but the core temps no longer measure correctly and it had me worried so I just have it as a tri core right now

Update: So I went ahead and unlocked the processor and all is running great, I also have my ram running at 1600Mhz 8-8-8-24-1T@1.6v instead of 9-9-9-24-2T@1.5v now. (see my new cpu-z validation :) )

Specs for my current build (this one is actually for me :) pictures to be posted when it's finished):
What I already have:
Case: NZXT gamma
PSU: PC power and cooling 750watt
HDD: Seagate 500Gb sataIII, I have plans to add one more of these to set up raid 0
CD/DVD: LG multi-burner
Ram: two of the sticks from above machine
GPU: HD 4770 bought as a refurb for really cheap, eventually I want to set up crossfire
Fans: five 120mm 3intake 2exhaust on open exhaust slot which I plan on filling

What I still need:
M/B: Undecided, 1st of the two parts I still need. Considering the crosshair V, I will update this in just over a week when I buy one
CPU: This will be on hold for longer 1-2 months and depends on which M/B I choose (2nd and final part I need)
CPU HSF: currently looking at xigmatek gaia might just use stock cooling in the meantime till I can afford to buy something better

Just an update (7/8): I have the 212+ arriving from amazon on the tuesday the 12th and I just ordered the sabertooth 990fx with a phenom II x3 720 on 7/7...so you can expect new pics next week

Logitech G9X Mouse
Logitech G19 Keyboard
Logitech Z623 Speakers
ASUS 21.5" LED-LCD Monitor x3 in EYEFINITY
Windows 7 64-bit

I posted a thread with this on there....before I saw this thread. Lmao my fault for that but ya, I built this about a month and a half ago and I must say the 600T was such an ease to build in. It was my first ever pc to build and I'm just here to learn as much as possible. I haven't overclocked anything yet because I just don't really know so much about that stuff yet. Thanx in advance for any suggestions or comments.

Great looking build yancyv8! You don't need to know a whole lot to just do a multiplier overclock, only when you are trying to get the max out of your entire system do you really need to know what you are doing. Are those 2Gb 6950's? If they are, are you planing to unlock them in the future?

I did do the unlock but I did a full force bios instead of just the shaders and the temps were at like 70*C-80*C idle so I did make a mistake in that but thank god for the bios switch :)

Great rig and I would love to see your 4 monitor set-up when it is done. How much did you get the 4x4GB RAM kit for?

Nice rig. I would like to see how it looks with your Eyefinity set-up.

Thanks man. I actually had to throw away my old desk at school - it was just plywood and lumber, but it cracked thanks to my old Asus VG236H monitor (heavy as hell). I need to find a new desk that can actually hold all 4 AND figure out a way to mount them (hooray for VESA standards! 😀). I don't think there's a way to run 3 in Eyefinity and the 24" separately, but I know my GPU support 4 monitors (one reason I switched from NVidia to AMD, aside from the benchmarks).

I actually got the RAM in two parts. They're identical kits: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428
I bought the first kit in April for $74.99 (25% off promo code) and then the second kit in the beginning of June for $59.49 ($70 Shell Shocker and 15% off personal promo code via email). I don't need all of it all the time, but I do enough MATLAB/Maple/Mathematica/Misc. codes to use up 8GB easily.

Sorry for the quality....I took em with my incredible. The first pic is my homescreen and the second is BFBC2. Unfortunately, I will be ditching my 3 monitors for one big 27" mainly because half the games I'm playing don't support eyefinity and the frames are worse over three screens. For example, when I play Rift on one monitor, I get about 52-63 frames but when on three, I get about 21-28.....thats terrible. If anyone on here wants my monitors, I have them listed in the classifieds. :)

^ bro, you just caught me off guard!!!!! 😀 I'm trying to make a move for a Maximus IV Gene-z build coming September...

ROG Fan - erm , thas one way of putting it. But i like the color scheme's.

BTW - can't compare mine to yours but thanks for the praise! When I'm over at my folks house, I'll take pics of rig 2 :)

wow lutfij, nice rig dude. Solid case too.

As a side note, yesterday I tested the 990FXA-GD65 with a 1090T using LN2 and the results....6.5GHz. Excellent mobo, very good features but the PCB distribution is a little dirty.
