That's an interesting case. Do you have room to move that CPU power cable up along the top of the MB and then down? You could buy an extension if needed.

No, I've tried but the new ASrock that's coming has the socket in the top so it will reach fine.
The fiirst link was just one of the pics from the blog but it went wrong
the case cost £30 but I laser cut a side window at school.

Just built this computer after my other one blew a power supply and motherboard after having to hard power down because in act of partitioning my hard drive, the whole thing hung on me. The overclock made a big difference in the overall performance of the computer, embeded graphics is ok for me because I don't game anymore.

You have a 400R and you're only able to do that with your cables!?

Nice looking build.

Makes me want to get mine finished even more now. Mine will look some what similar to that once finished (Apart from the H100 and 680).

How do you like the 800D? I've heard it can be a bit of a heat coffin.

You can't AFAIK, I've been looking for them myself.

The CM 690II advanced 3.0 comes with them as standard now which is slightly annoying as it came out just after I bought my 690 II Advanced.

You can buy the grommets for the 3.0 on the Coolermaster website but they won't fit the regular 690 II advanced due to them changing the cable management holes slightly .

I have heard that grommets for a corsair case (not sure which one) will fit with a bit of DIY trimming.

Or a strip of U-channel cut to size will also work to protect wires from edges,
a square of black rubber with access holes cut out could blank off the hole if thats the effect desired

thanks, they are not too bad...i think i am a litle bit dissapointed coz they are the quite edition and i dont think they are more quite than the fans that come with the h-100. at least not on the lowest setting..wich is all i ever used so far

the ones that route infront of GPU and the oddly visible blue sata cables. A few stray wires at the edges of mobo. I'd try to route the cables through grommets and mess about with the cables a bit more while also getting some black sata cables

The wires around the mobo come out the gromments to the mobo ( thos are for the fans )

Yes i need to order the round sleved black sata ( would be sweet ) and easy to bend.

I will play around with the GPU power cables ( kind of a bad place EVGA put thos lol )

I went back a few pages to the original post Nik, I would say that its a massive improvement mate, well done,
a few niggles I'd change or drill here and there but meh, its a hell of a lot better now man,
