I just went back 5 pages and counted about 80 deleted posts in that time. Most of these are from the same people.

Is it so hard to understand that this thread is for EVERYONE?
That the intent is for people to come and post pictures of the builds they are proud of, and that they should feel safe in doing so? ... and not invading some private chat club?

We have closed this thread twice already. Once for a full week.

I'm not mad at any of you... but I'm out of ideas about controlling this thread so that it returns to its intended purpose.

Great thread so far, guys! Lots of epic rigs here. Let's keep it going and keep the posts as on-topic as we can. :)

Maybe let's keep the responses to pictures of rigs, and either questions or comments about those pictures. That way, the thread stays easiest to read and enjoy.

Thanks friends!

Specifications:
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770
RAM: Mushkin Enhanced Blackline Ridgeback 8GB Dual Channel (2x4GB)
MB: Asus P8Z77-V LX (I'm an idiot for not getting the pro, this one doesn't support SLI. I can get a 460 cheap, because I would kill for another two monitors, but I guess I'll get a 600s card with 3 way monitor support).
PSU: Corsair AX650
SSD: OCZ Vertex 4 64GB
HDD: Hitachi 500GB
ODD:...some offbrand
UPS: Cyberpower Systems 1350AVR

A modular power supply is the second best decision I've ever made with computers after buying an SSD. The cable clutter is 100x easier to control and makes building much easier also. Plus the Corsair AX series is one of the best if not THE best quality power supplies available on the consumer market. I'm a firm believer in spending the extra $ on the PSU.

I'm probably getting a different case like the XM or spray painting my HAF 932, because I hate this case. I went cheap and thats what I got. No wheels, barely space for cable management, no thumbscrews. Returning it.

Unbelievable fast. I had a X25-M 80GB before which was king of the crop in its time...this is actually a noticeable improvement. Its just too fast.

Tidy? well I did try hard, but I'm getting rid of this case.

My plan was to sell my HAF 932, but I am actually going to get rid of this enforcer. I will gut the inside of the 932, and spray the interior Matt Black, then order a USB 3.0 top panel and basically have the updated 932 Advanced. It will look a lot cleaner. right now you see my P4-Sata converters and case header cables. That will all be gone.

However, thanks for the feedback.

I use only one fan for the hs because my idle temps are 20C and load is 35C. And yes one kit is Vengie's and the other are g.skills till I get my second vengie kit in the morning. As for cables.. this is my first attempt at it and well, with a non modular psu.. its a nightmare...I have three "extra" molex and three "extra" Sata power cables. If i were able to afford a modular psu i would be set... that aside, i feel i did rather well on my first highend build in a full tower case. 😛 Also I hear you are the cable management Nazi 😛

Your build is neat!!! I need a new case :pfff: look at this cable job 😛 http://s1154.photobucket.com/albums/p535/Niklas_13/?action=view&current=599284_219837641471288_1120418279_n1.jpg

My old E8500 GTX 260 looked better in the same case http://s1154.photobucket.com/albums/p535/Niklas_13/?action=view&current=DSC018972.jpg Do to the PSU

I am thinking about the 300R http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139011 Because I can only fit 20X 9.5 X 19.5 in my desk :fou:

Also this PSU to clean up the cables more http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341052

Should work ok, I am thinking

Also good to see another AMD believer on the internet! +1 Moto!

LOL...
I do not critisise peoples rigs, unless there is something mega needed working on...
I will look at yours in a mo 😉

Lol I'm new to the fully custom built scene, and there fore thrive on constructive feedback :)

Just being nice^...
Cable tidying is good, but not to the extent where you should rip an expensive case open to hide them....

Enough for airflow is fine, i see no reason to go the MOTO route, but i respect his cable skills :)

If you are refering to me, I didn't permantly rip anything out...I just:

-Took the tooless 5.25'' drive holders
-HDD holders
-PSU stand
-All the fans
-Top panel
-Sidewalls
-PCI Slot holders, notches and holder bar
-5.25>3.5 adapter
-front panel/filter
-Front panel side towers
-Mesh 5.25 slots

I didn't break anything, just unscrewed every damn screw I could find. I also think that the motherboard tray space on the enforcer is unacceptable. I wish there was a case with straight-up 1'' of space from the tray to the wall.

Yeah, non modular PSU's are a pain for me. With my previous 850TX ( which was an amazing PSU BTW), I used like 5 cables and the other 25 cables I had to stuff in nooks and crannies that I could find. Very annoying. Modular PSU's are a lot easier.

Also, in the third pic, why is your PSU facing fan up?...I thought that bottom PSU's need to be fan down.

I just found some space at the top of the mobo where i can thread the wires through and ziptie them to the back plate of the case..

@ Wraith 1213
😱

Loving the theme mate!

The black with white looks very striking and eye pleasing...
Nice choice on the GPU, not too much to be a large bottleneck, and enough to give your games the juice they demand!

I am rather pleased with the 7950. It nearly tripled my frames in bf3 over my dual HD 6870's i sold. And i almost bought the black 810 but the white with black accents is just orgasmic to look at haha 😀

Hell if i know 😛 someone else said that i can turn it over to push the cable to the back of the case!!! :) I am getting the new PSU anyways and will fix it then

No, i was pointing out that you do not need to rip your shiny case apart to get rid of your OCD cable foolishness 😀
Haha! You misunderstood me! I took my old HAF932 apart so I.can spray paint it black. I did not take the enforcer apart. Speaking of case, I was seriously considering getting the XM, but it has some perks that drive me completely nuts. How hard is it to add wheels and why would you put a PSU filter inside? Thats just weird. Other than a HAF X, I cannot find any damn case better than my 932. And its really simple things that are not hard to add.

Recently installed a TX850 into my brothers Switch 810.

With a case like that, you don't need modular. I hid every excess part of cable and unused cables with sandwich ties and it looks spectacularly clean.

I would suggest just sitting down and taking the time to actually see how you want to route the cables and your case interior will look much cleaner :)

Moto is only the CMN when he tells someone a fan cable is showing 😛

I don't have time to reply to all relevant posts today, need sleep :),
But I would like to rectify an error,
I'm the Resident Cable Monster, or as a recent post suggested, Moto-Cablemaster,
I strongly dislike the Nazi reference although I know its not intended to offend,
unfortunately it does,
/Sensible rant over :)
