Well that is another weak point from the Antec 300 Illusion it doesn't have any holes on the bottom for airflow for the PSU so you have to face the fan upward into the case...

The HDD is actually in a better position for cable management as well I'll post some more pics of the stuffed wires in a bit.

I'm just going to get Corsair Carbide Series 300R Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

I wish that case was on the market when I was building. It is the best case its price range. It has cable management cutouts, a front intake fan filter, a PSU fan filter, and its made by Corsair.

@Malmental: The lack of cable management cutouts on the 300 Illusion is quite depressing but at least it has a removable front intake fan filter because if there is one thing that I hate more than seeing cables it is dust.

@Moto: If improving the cable management means cutting up my case, I don't think I'll be up for that. Too many headaches from this build already....

You can, but it would require some strategic drilling hehe,
I agree on the dust too, whats the point in a nice cablefree case thats caked in 3 months worth of dust?
Yuk
You could send it to me for 'guidance', I'm like naughty dog school for errant cables hehe

Damn, I'm intrigued McGhee, Pm me the original post mate :p

This case has no space behind the mobo so everything is just lined up at the back out of the way of airflow, I could improve it but the Gf is always on it so i don't get the chance to

Ya I don't think I'll be drilling holes in this build. Too many headaches already...

The lack of cables does lead to less dust collecting in your build which is a plus side to your cable management madness.

That Evga card isn't doing you any favours, bad plug placement imo, you can flip the Psu and that lays the cables to the rear making things easier, but in the absence of drilling cutting, you really don't have much to do, few more ties should see you neater :)
@Mjmjpfaff, no probs mate,
but give me a shout when the new case arrives :)
Moto

Yeah a new case and PSU is do down the road !!! If i cant sell my old i5 750 / P55_UD4P HD / 5850 i will use this case and PSU and build a 3rd PC when friends come over to play :)

I dont mind drilling holes, cutting the case i am a IronWorker by trade so thats NP < just lazzy :p

As a once great man said, (paraphrasing ofc) "There is only 0% cable management if you allow there to be."
