pray I don't fail lol!
:) better not do it then and take it to an automotive workshop, the workmanship should be better.

Decided to order a Rosewill HIVE 750W to replace my TX850 V1
wait just a minute!

if you have a corsair TX series PSU and want the modular cables - without all that cables luggin at the back - why don't you get the modular/single braided/sleeved cables from corsairs site.

http://www.corsair.com/power-supply-units/psu-accessories.html

better yet just get another corsair PSU - i heard that the single sleeved cords would be bundled with all their new psu's.

@ Vash0164 - whats your voltage settings for that 4.9ghz OC? Is that prime95 stable or everyday use stable? And no Im not a prime95 nut where the system's got to do it 24 hrs straight no errors, more like a 30 minute kinda guy.

@ Lutfij - Tom's has some good articles on the llano chips and matx mobo roundup. I got it as a bundle with the mobo. I'm still tweaking but the limiting factor it seems for me is the motherboard choice. I could drop in a discreet card to test with, like the 570, but then I'd have to replace the PSU currently set up on the test bench (cardboard boxes hehe), so I won't be doing that. (Edit: Also, arent the CPU-side of the llano very similar and comparable to the Athlon II x4s? Maybe a bench or two of those with the cards you have in mind are out there for comparison.)

It'll hit 50-60 fps all day with Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition at 1080p, High settings, no AA, or a 40ish avg with DiRT 3 at 1080p, Low settings, no AA. I haven't tested it with any other titles so far except some 3DMark and AvP bench runs.

i'm sure moto will hold a workshop for those in "total" despair  ... google is your friend...and some of us on this here forums.

@ clone - yeah , its been a while since i looked up the APU's from amd. That IMHO is not my scene me thinks, its on par with the AIIx4's but the unique feature is the onboard GPU. if i will drop in a gpu later on, then it defeats the purpose of me having to go new tech when the new tech is on par with aging tech ... :/ almost similar to me shelling out on a 775 rig and have a gpu on it which'd be completely bottlenecked. I think 1155 i3's are the way to go...and hmm maybe go Ivy bridge in a couple weeks/months. But thanks for the info!

I am shamefully posting pictures of my build...
The first step is admitting you have a problem though right?

@ jacob -
1| admitting to a problem but not looking for a solution before hand is the problem 😗
2| you might want to rid yourself of the PATA/IDE drive(s) they'll aid you tucking and managing your cables better or just get some rounded IDE cables...though i don't think thas a good idea.

4| there are zipties which'll compliment the tie mounts/wire managers available on the back of your mobo tray.
5| once you have all of them figured out, that blue PCB mobo will compliment you blue accented antec case even more

hope these help you out.

The IDE drive is the winXP. I just kept it from an old system when I put this together. The reason I have yet to try to do anything with this: the space between the mobo tray and side panel seems so small that I can't even begin to fit all the cables there. I stare at it distraught and give up before starting.

i didnt have migraines, i had massive hemmoraging. but i went from this mess...

and now i just have a slight ulcer...

Why get rid of the dust? I think it adds character. [:russwood1488:8] My biggest issue is the flat modular cables. They're a pain to manage and don't like to be manipulated out of the way.

@ russwood1488 Just make the dust work in your favor. "My rig's theme is (insert any post-apocalyptic game)" and then its supposed to be there.

@ malmental thanks i think i broke the rules of the thread tho. I'll just tell the mods the truth right here, I'm medicated. lol :)

@ Lutfij not so much, if you're referring to the captions... I had all these messed up photos with a crap ton of yellow. I'm lazy and devised a method to make it appear on purpose, rather than retake and edit them. :)

I guess technically I play swtor but I havent logged in in about a month.

^ could've sent it to me to touch it up 😗 nice build there... dunno whats taking so long to receive my rad at my doorstep. Though i'll still need to get the blocks+fans+ controller to get it up and running.
