Also, check out that amazing cable management. And just so no one thinks other wise I'm gonna say it right here, I say that in jest. Not seriously 😛

Getting my other 4gb of ram tomorrow to make 8. :)

Looks like the fan is blowing down onto the PSU, does it have room to breath? as it doesn't look like it.

Nah, the Psu is flipped to take air from inside the case, and the fan on top is blowing onto the gfx card fighting the Psu's fan by the looks, its definitely unusual hehe
and if thats the benefit of modular Psu's Muffin, Izza stick wit ma nonmods tyvm 😛

Sorry 🙁

I wanted to update to the i7-3770 build but after the reviews I felt the i7-3930K was the best choice. The i7-920 was getting "old" and need to be updated... IMO. As for the GTX 670, I made the purchase as soon as it came available on Newegg of release day!! I see it is available again (well... it might be gone now after posting) on Newegg, so grap yourself one!! I'm hoping to be able to pick one another one in mid-June :bounce:

Haha Tecmo, just playing. Looks like a solid system. STILL... THE i7 3930K costs SO MUCH MORE than the i7 3770K! But temps do come into play I suppose.

I think I'll wait for the in my price range cards though. The GTX 660 (Ti if they keep the annotation) or wait for the 7870 or 7850 to drop further.

I hear you on the primary build!! :na:

I do agree I have more work to do with the cable management, but since I was planning on adding a 2nd GTX 670, I would wait for then 😀 I had plenty of time with the secondary build and the 650D is better with cable management. I like the looks and cooling with the Corsair 550D (seems better than 650D) but loss a little with cable management 🙁

I had the same thought process with the i7-3770K and my concern with temps. I was able to get my i7-3930K stable @ 4.8 GHz, with normal running temps around 35C based on ambient temps & full load around 75C. I'm happy with the build and outcome.

I originally wanted the i7-660 Ti but I'm hearing a Q3 release that I couldn't wait for that long 😀 . The Radeon HD 7870 and 7850 are great cards. With a price drop, they will be very good price to performance cards!

:) yeah, the guy who was complaining of pc troubles asked me to take a look and i couldn't stand the wires - they were hurting my eyes 😛

btw, i'm also eyeing a GTX670 signature ed from EVGA :/ ... just waiting on it to stock up on the egg.

Nice! I love Ivy but yeah, the temps that Sandy gets makes me so much happier specially since the performance is pretty much the same.

Yeah, Q3 is a bit long for me... But the 5850 hasn't quit on me yet. Starting to though, and the fan is getting annoying with how loud the stock is haha. Might just do a custom heatsink install and hold out with it on a 1GHZ overclock to the 5870's level.

Congrats on the cable management improvements on that case.
Thanks matey [:lutfij:3]!!

It made a vast improvement in appearance (and cooling for sure).
 i can already see modo singing "hallelujah" 😛

performance wise, dunno, its really old/obsolete
if memory serves me well, its
core 2 duo
G41 board
1GB ram
320GB HDD
samsung ODD

its worth mentioning, its a HTPC rig :) with an occasional use of MS Office for some small scale presentations and excel listings.

nice and clean 'tuck' job, I can live with that anyday.
(non windowed case)

I don't have too much to say to you 'lufti' because from you I expect quality..
[:lutfij:4] much appreciated words from you mental mal 😀

I get that my pc isn't that good, and i suck at cable management, but is there really such a need for the massive amounts of sarcasm? I built my system to play skyrim, and it plays it on ultra settings with tons of graphical enhancement mods. 😛 Im not one for overkill, therefore i bought and built what i need. The case is rarely opened (unless i need to clean it), so i don't really care about cable management, etc.
At the end of the day, the pc gets its job done 😛

@Jamieboy113: Fair enough statement and very true... If no one is going to see it, than it doesn't really matter (like... don't ask me to show the backside of my cases... not a neat as those guys :) ). If you are happy with your build & meets your needs than that is all that matters.

relax....
it's called 'hazing' or part of an initiation process.
thick skin is in 'forum feedback' section (moderation) do you need to go there.?
and humor is mostly 'here in gallery thread'...
😛
gotta pay to play.

Ahh, fair enough 😛 I best stop acting butthurt 😛 I just take pride in my little baba pc, it does it's job and im happy that it works 😀
