Apologies for any real hurt caused man, but this is a gallery where folks show off their skills and as such a certain level of tidiness is expected, I take it too far and demand that all cables are invisicabled, I.e. unseen,
Check further back in the thread and you'll see we have eased up a bit on people,
But as Mal said you will still get some stick, although no actual offence is intended,
If its good for you then its all good, but in here, it can get tough 😛

Not going to win any awards for cable tidiness, but it looks worse than it actually is as all cables are out of the airflow paths:

Also i know the picture frame is weird but it keeps my 6950 from epically sagging and potentially may be directing air to the GPU more. I can't be arsed to make a flow simulation to see though.

Would like to make it tidier though, so if Moto has any constructive criticism....

Noisier, it doesn't get that hot so i prefer it to be a bit quieter

Cables aren't too bad man, room to improve definitely but by no means terrible,
for the gfx card, make up a bracket that screws to the hdd cage and supports the end of the card
Excuse the lack of drawing skill 😛

screw it to the hdd cage and the bottom 'shelf' will support the cards weight, you can trim that part to allow for any fans obviously

Yes but my point is that my temps only went up 3C from 31C idle after cranking up every setting. Where D3 runs at 46C maxed.

BF3 is 60C :3

IDK I am still dumbfound by my card.

@ Techmo, did your 670 come with a highflow bracket installed? Mine did but I can't find anywhere that states that it comes with it which was a big surprise when I opened the package. the better airflow helps so much compared to other cards without it. I wonder if all evga gtx 670 (white/black design) come with which is why I ask.

Bwahaha yeah 3x 670s would be amerzin. I would need to step them up to the 4GB versions so I could multi monitor like a baus.

finally cleared my desk and able to boot up my 2500K unit.
it had been a week since I even turned her on.
I must have knocked something loose because she didn't boot and was not talking to me...


so I had to open her up massage/stoke her connections for a minute.
then all of a sudden she started talking again.
😍 😗

she missed me and then I came bearing gifts and updated her GPU drivers.
now she can see so much more clearly.
things are 'malmental' normal for now...
