Thought I would add another 1080 ti SLI score. Next couple weeks should be interesting. I have 2 2080's coming. May swap these 1080 ti's out on EVGA's step up as well depending on scores. Might send the 2080's back, who knows.

Sold my 4790K build, and spent the money on some other things.

Got an X5650 6-core at 4.5Ghz and a GTX 1070 Ti. Unfortunately the 1070Ti is actually broken. It works fine in games but in Superposition it's extremely stuttery, this was due to the previous owner messing with it. I got it "open box" on Amazon...open box my butt.

Well bought it 10€ as broken, cleaned in jar (thermal paste all over), new pads and worked.
Same for Asus maximus hero vii (1150) waiting for bios chip, re balled socket by me, works fine but cannot change bios settings or it will get stuck at 00...
Currently selling rx 480, sticking with gtx 470 and moving to Germany for work.
Soon benchmark gtx 470, 9800x2 (if it doesnt crash or freeze due my psu)

My GTX 1080 FTW2 beat that GTX 1070Ti score at stock speed by almost 100 points.

Scored 4443 at stock clocks.

yea, but how much you pay for it? the FTW2 is also factory OC'd by 100mhz

$550 when I got it before the mining stuff happened..... And I got it early before they stopped using 11 GBS memory. ;)

Your GTX 1070Ti is a FTW2 also.....

No it isn't, it's the blower style with the FTw2 BIOS for a 10% higher power limit (20% stock, 30% for FTW2). Mine isn't overclocked yet.

Here we go. Water cooled and overclocked the snot outta this bad boi. 2088mhz the whole time, mem+500, core +180. Can prolly do 2100mhz.

I may or may not be getting a 1080 for $300. Good deal and i have the money but I do want to get some new cases for other builds I have.

This benchmark is at PCIe 2.0 x16, NOT 3.0 x16. If it was 3.0 the score would probably be higher. It's not 200 marks higher so I can't add it, but an OC gave the clever girl some extra juice.

Maybe not this test, but Passmark is everything sensitive, so I only get 11K in Passmark.

My regular 1070 paired with my 4790K would get 16K on a good day, 15k average.

Speaking of, I have about $180, any Ivy Bridge or newer you recommend that will beat my X5650? Results for that are on the CPU bench thread.

Why not just save a bit and use the latest Gen I7 instead of messing around with that old stuff?

The i7 9700K and i9 9900K are coming out soon also.

Because it's cheaper.

I'd go with Haswell again but the 4790K is still $150+ and the MSI Z97 boards are also $150+. My income is based on commission, not a salary. So this $180 may be the only $180 I get to spend on PC parts for a while.

Submitted my GTX 1070 here before twice in the past. Nobody seemed to give a crap that my score was decent enough to go on the board.

So now I present to you my score for my new 1080ti I just got.
P.S. - As far as I can see I have the absolute highest single card score amongst those here with the 1080ti.
Perhaps now someone will be bothered to notice MOD EDIT:Language. Or not, you do whatever you want with this submission, I'm not coming back here again.

Weird, because I get an email every time someone posts to this thread, and I just went over the last 5 pages and you're not in any of them. Fact check before you get your knickers in a twist.

I can't read any of that, so unfortunately for you I can't add the submission. I even clicked on it and it brought me to PicHost, and the image is only 640x360 and blurry as hell.

This is your fault, not ours, so don't get all upset because your submission wasn't added.

here you go bro.

And if you were to click on the image at pichost it would show full rez. But I'll just post full rez here then.

Not the best 1070 score in the world but not horrible either. But that's neither here nor there. Have a good one.

This is why his score was not added. Poor overall attitude and complete disregard to proof against his claim.

1. his card was thermal throttling. This is extremely obvious.
2. If his claim was true, my 1070 wouldn't be at 2100Mhz throughout the benchmark.
3. The rules of this forum prevent me from expressing how I truly feel towards this individual.

Yeah if you read my reply instead of reacting emotionally you'd know that I went to pichost and it was super blurry. But okay, you do you.

Trust me when I say both SinxarKnights and I were running EXTREME overclocks on our cards. Mine even had an 8-pin and a 6-pin, giving more power headroom, and I did the power shunt mod and he still beat mine.

3700 points is pretty average for a 1070.

Also, the GPU boost curve is just fine, some cards throttle sooner than others. But as far as scores in the 3900s go, they were either OC'd up the wazoo or modded. Mine was modded and artifacting more than the RTX FE cards are OOTB.

Just to play devils advocate here EH

While attitude may not be on point, it doesn't violate any rules of the forum I see, nor does it violate any rules you've put in place for this thread.

Whether they agree or disagree with the benchmark itself is irrelevant - they wish to participate here.

You certainly could cite the fact they didn't adhere to:
2. Post the screenshot, with both GPUZ and the Superposition window in the same image.

Might want to keep personal feelings out of it.

Agreed, I did the same and it was - maybe you need to log in, I don't know. I know I wasn't logging in to find out.

Only you can see the screenshot in your first post because it's not uploaded to a public picture sharing site like imgur or tinypic. I have to check the BB code to see that anything was posted at all.

Second post is unreadable even clicking on it. I see you fixed it though with the repost.
