Hi
I consider getting an ARM laptop as my next laptop

But it seems the support/compability is not there yet

Or does the "translation layer" work good for apps etc. that can't run natively in ARM?

I need to run apps like Cubase Pro, Ableton Live and the game Trackmania United Forever
EDIT: it seems that Trackmania runs fine natively with ARM
I'm still very curious about Cubase and Ableton

What do you think.. is it too early for ARM?

What advantages do you foresee in a ARM laptop to offset the compatibility concerns. How much will you really gain in battery life or system cost?
I would want objective evidence that real-time apps like Ableton Live work without glitches.

Sure it's nice with more battery life, but that's not in my focus
The effeciency, lightweight, low heat + low fan noise is what attracts me
+ ARM is the future
