I have to reload Windows 2000, but I don't want to lose my
customized toolbars from any applications. Are these
toolbar configurations stored as files (config files?)
somewhere that I can save and then restore after the
reload?

Andy,

I am guessing you are talking about toolbars for office and such. Depending
on the version of Office, there is an applet that will save that for you
either locally, over the network or on the Internet. Start - Programs - MS
office Tools, save my settings wizard.
