Well then I guess it's a good thing that the thread topic is "Top 10 best pc game", wherein said thread asks for our OPINION and NOT YOUR RESPECT.

C'mon everyone, say it with me... "BURN!"

Half-Life 2 and Half-Life are by far the best and most influential pc games of all time. Physics based puzzles were far ahead of it's time for a shooter.

2) flight simulator x - if u got the muscle to run it on high settings
3) empire earth 2 - building an army and blowing/shooting/bombing ***- amazing...
4) return to castle wolfenstien - witout this game, there would be no xbox live today.
5) roller coaster tycoon - including all it's expandsions and versions. I have wasted the most in my life playing this game, and it was time WELL spent!

wow a bit sad these days, gearscore driven game, half of players not yet in double digit age range and nothing to do except farm farm farm for badges via same non-challenging content. the world is completely empty because all players want to do is level up through instances via the new dungeon finder tool. a player could just sit by his trainer for the purpose of levelling up from 15-80. the community has gone really down hill as well, because the game has got so easy players want everything right now and verbal abuse is the norm when in groups with other players. I got back into the game in january and got back out again in february.

When a new studio picks up an old but loved franchise people will get nervous that it franchise will get 'wrecked' but Fallout 3 IMO although it's nothing like the original Fallout games it's still very much worthy of the name on the grounds of being a really well developed and executed game.

I'll stick to newer game say over the last 6 years as an all time list is to hard.

1) Fallout 3
2) The Witcher
3) Half Life 2 Ep2
4) Company of Heroes
5) Supreme Commander: FA
6) Rome Total War (with SPQR mod)
7) GRID
8) Audio Surf
9) Crysis Warhead
10) Crysis

As a side note some of crappier games I've played recently inculde

- Far Cry 2
- Supreme Commander 2
- Alien Vs Predator
- Bioshock (it's not a bad game just highly overrated)
- Sim City Societies
- Civilisation IV

The Slayer thing is still going, huh? Seems so one-dimensional. Used to listen to Danzig and understand the power-surge from the aggression, but isn't there more to things than such nihilism? No subtlety. True power comes in a higher form seldom grasped. Absolutist; no way out. What kind of paradoxism is such a quote on annihilation of all life? What kind of logic is that with nothing to have peace between?

Where are all the old school'ers? Distracted by the glitz and glamour of new games?

How about the UFO series? (Afterlight, Aftermath, Aftershock)
Or Hacker?
Fallout 1?
King's Quest?
Leisure Suit Larry?

Now those were the days.... Word.
