the only brand i trust for smart buy is corsair , lian li , caselab , some cooler master , some phantek
the worst is nzxt , fractal design , silverstone , rosewill , thermaltake , bitefenix
and the best for low budget deepcool terassect , enermax ostrog , zalman Z3 plus and Z5 plus , some corsair

Well I went with an NZXT Phantom 630 myself and in the middle of making a build for it and so far I love it. The room, fan setup and quality all seems great to me. I haven't turned the fans on yet for the case which I heard can be noisy but I'm really not too sensitive to stuff like that. I'm not a person that is looking for extreme quiet or anything like that. Just as long as it's not a jet turbine spooling up I will be fine with it. ha.

``"The worst is NZXT, Fractal Design.... Bitfenix" wat?``
yes nzxt ..the only good pc case is the h440 but no front bay???
the other model are expensive and give nothing more then the same ugly design case

fractal design ... not a lot to say about them , the only decent model they offer is the define serie and its not the end of the world design and not the best quality build

bitfenix YES! the only decent model for the price is the shinobi...and the pandora ( but to small) and they have some quality issues

A perfect Example from a fanboy.

I personally have a Corsair 900D which is FATALLY FLAWED. infact it's so rediculously flawed I cannot put my window back on the case. The lower compartments and Corsair's quality control needs to be sorted out.

Corsair are like Razer in a way. They're marketing business, not a gaming experience.

In all fairness their products are good but they are by no means perfect. Coming from a 900D guy I'd actually chose a Inwin tou if I had the money and availability,

Corsair really need to sort their cr*p out because I've had 3 Corsair products faulty, case +2 keyboards.

Sorry Silverstone and Fractal are two very good manufacturers, with the reviews to show it. And I also stand behind them both with personal experience. I cannot personally speak for NZXT or bitfenix, but they do have good well reviewed cases on the market. I understand where you are coming from with thermaltake and Rosewill, but even Thermaltake has some quality products all over the place(Mice, keyboards, and cases). Rosweill I agree plain sucks, the only thing I like them for are their small peripherals (wifi cards, Card readers and inexpensive case fans).

To "only trust" one brand, especially one that is just that "a brand" and not a manufacturer doesn't seem like the best recipe for success.

NZXT are great budget products with modern design in which I believe Alienware may get some of their designs from (X51?)

I agree with you on this. Thermaltake's level 10 series are amazing and also has the reviews to show it. Never the less the case is collab'd with BMW,

I think this was also quite a hypocritical comment to say that Corsair is all gleem and that BitFenix have quality issues.

but 3 back to back products from Corsair are all faulty in some way. I'd much rather buy myself something that's less easy to break. I might run into a NZXT H440 Razer edition -

I know what I said about Razer but it's NZXT and that H440 is such a nice looking case let alone with green LED's around the bottom.

I cannot believe you just said that.

I think I give up. -1

I chose the 900D by myself after i saw various reviews slating Corsair for it. I think the 760T is one of their only break through cases

My first build was in the R4, worked like a dream. The only market Corsair appeal to in my opinion are the budget market (200R) and the MicroAtx builders (Air 240). Their "high-end cases" are average at best.

May I ask what other Corsair products you own or have built in personally?

On the most part, I agree!

Is that in reply to his comment or mine?

I quoted Badboy, but I am interested in knowing what Corsair products you have personally used that have failed you.

I do take care of it, as a 17 year old who worked for my PC completely by myself and built it by myself I love it to pieces and the only things that I really wanna change is my Headset, Case and soon my cooling soloution (which will be fully liquid).

I make sure there's no dust in my PC twice a month and clean the (scratched) window once a week. I'm sorry but if you are going to tell me that I don't care for my PC you're wrong.

Also the Corsair 900D has nice features, yes. But it barely has anything more than a Phanteks Enthoo Pro which is like £100 cheaper. I wasted my money on the 900D.

The problem isnt the features it's the quality control, I've actually made my fingernails bleed when I take the door off due to the bottom part being broken.

Passive aggression in the form of subtle insults are not conducive to this drastically O.T. thread. You do not know what he does with his products, so to speculate on that is moot. You made a very large blanket statement about several companies, a statement in my opinion that is not wholly accurate, you should be prepared to sensibly back up your statement with sources and personal experiences without getting frustrated with someone else's explanation.

I have had 2 K70's now which LEDS die like flies.

My 900D as seen above.

I had a headset which I sent back to Amazon which I think was broke in shipping but...

My mouse is fine so far though

No, no you can't. Corsair does not make their own PSU's. Corsair designs and market's their PSU brand but do not manufacturerer them. They start with an OEM from another manufacturer, super flower, seasonic etc. and have them make their products and then slap their name on it. It's a common practice, and nothing to be faulted for. However, they do not use the same manufacturer for all of their PSU's. Corsair uses OEMs from all over the market range. So while the CX builder series is average at best, they still have top tier quality PSU's. So please, unless you have used 1 (preferably more than 1) of their products on which you are commenting please don't use speculation to review any product.

I find that with peripherals it is always a crap shoot unless you buy the premium products, and even that is a crap shoot. A lot of headsets or not quality units from many different companies and I mean NZXT, Razer. Corsair, Thermaltake and so forth. While those same companies offer products at a higher price point that tend to be more reliable. This goes doubly for headsets.

I mean my audio set up is changing to

Creative Sound Blaster ZxR (I think it's called that)

Sennheiser HD700

Audio Technica AT 2020

and my technics book shelf speakers if I need them.

My Mic I'm fairly undecided on though I think the 2020 will be a good bet assuming my current mobile headphones are audio technica!
