You are mistaken. When it comes to quality, you get what you pay for. You can buy a similar product from XFX, Seasonic (makes most high end PSU's for all these companies), Corsiar, and EVGA with similar specs all in the same price range. Please refer to the PSU tier listing in the stickies.

``I quoted Badboy, but I am interested in knowing what Corsair products you have personally used that have failed you. ``
allmost all gaming peripherals are bad from corsair ( keyboards, mice, headset etc... ) but i think we do not talk about gaming peripheral here?...

i do not want to try to destroy any brand or manufacturer here...all of i said is base on my personnal experience ..i build pc from 20 years ago , each manufacturer have their own speciality ...

corsair are good in pc case and case fan thats it

i forgot to mention that antec is one of the worst too in pc case

I cannot believe you just said that.

I think I give up. -1

I chose the 900D by myself after i saw various reviews slating Corsair for it. I think the 760T is one of their only break through cases[/quotemsg]

I love the 760T and would have gotten it in white if they had them in stock ANYWHERE at the time I ordered all of my parts for a new build. I just checked around and saw newegg has them back in stock now for about $206 with S/H. I didn't want to spend that kind of money on a case but would have. The Phantom I got was around $140 with free S/H so I saved a nice chunk of money there and so far very happy with the choice.

I like a little flare with the case I get but not too much, so that is why I went with the Phantom 630, and also why I would have loved to have gotten a white 760T. I prefer the styling of the 760T over the Phantom as the Phantom design flare goes slightly over the edge for me, but all around I'm happy with the white Phantom I ended up with.....so far.

You should've checked an InWin 904

It looks like a nice case for sure but I did want to get a full tower for some pretty good air flow, and then of course room.

And yeah, on newegg that case is about $200 dollars.

Amen on that front. Thirty minutes left for me!

I think that is what's if forgotten here. To have a "quality' product you have to pay. Now I am not saying sub $200 or £132 is bad but do not expect some great stuff. Shoot for something sub $300 or £200 don't expect greatness. I have 2 Ethoo Primo, 1 Shinobi, and both have their flaws. I am building a new system with a CaseLabs, and I will say you get what you pay for.

The Ethoos is a fantastic case with tons of options, but I will tell you the space behind the MoBo is about 1/2" or 1.3cm too narrow for someone who uses say 11 fans and 8 hard drives. The Phanteks does not adequately give room for a cable bundle that thick, so if you try to attach the side panel it will bulge unless you get longer HD cables and route them up then back down.

As for the Shinobi XL, it is a very nice case in layout and feel, but for some damn reason Bitfenix desided to use multiple 200mm fans??? Why?

Again money equals quality, the more you spend the better you get... And don't be saying well get a Murderbox, because that's a PC not a case and for instance it is built on the Silverstone TJ series and that is a damn good case.

Funny how this went from cases to PSU, but that seems to always happen lol.

OP, look at the case that best suits your needs, unless you just wanted to create a bitch fest, as 70--80% of all people have their fan-boy opinion of what they think is best... Every geek has the flavor they like, mine is cavernous and the ability to hold lots of wetness... What's yours?

Peace...

Morning,

There are better alternatives to the 750D such as the Silverstone KL03-B or the Be Quiet Base 800.

I just personally dislike Corsair now days, they have poor quality control and their RMA service for peripherals is awful let alone their cases which is why I'm scared to RMA my case...

Well my NZXT was sub $200 and feel it's great quality so far. I have no clue what the fan noise is like yet but so far so good. I do love the amount of cooling power you get with the case as far as space and fans. Then I even added one fan to the pivotal connector in the middle to make for some great air cooling. I know you aren't saying sub $200 cases are bad but so far it feels like some pretty great quality. Of course now that I say this the case will probably catch fire and blow up on me. ha

Snagged that is the thing, I think everyone has a "idea" of what they like. So for me I look at $300+ as being the awesomeness in case-land, but again cases that are sub $100 can be awesomeness for many other, I just feel most cases sub $300 tend to be too small. Again, I like massive frickin cases due to airflow, pipe run, RAD holding, and fan placement.

If I could convince my wife, I would buy a http://www.caselabs-store.com/magnum-tx10/, but she will not let me have a case of this size in our living room, I mean it took a while to get her to accept me having a "blade" sever in our closet....

I will admit, I have seen some nice sub $100 cases I would use for HTPC...

Holy crap, that is some serious case in that link. What case are you using now?

I do like a lot of room in the case as well, to keep things cool for sure. I know they make ultra towers I was looking at but those seemed to be too pricey for me.

Just an update since I mentioned previously I had issues with some paint damage on my enthoo pro's side panel. Phanteks was awesome to work with, they sorted things out and sent my replacement panel out right away. There was a delay of around 3-4 days on ups' end because of bad weather but to be expected. There are some tradeoffs and I don't have many other new cases to compare to. Perhaps overall quality is down compared to 8-9yrs ago? The enthoo pro is a great case but compared to my older antec sonata is a bit lower quality in a few areas. The antec uses heavier steel and had a really durable gloss black 'piano' finish I think they called it. The enthoo's paint seems to be thinner (scratches easier), the spray a little light in more recessed areas and the metal itself is thinner.

On the other hand, the enthoo has a much better (and more modern, being 10yrs newer) layout and design. More cooling options, more filters for the intakes, finer filter mesh and the lighter metal may be an attempt to lighten the case up some since it's a fair bit bigger than most mid towers. Not even accounting for inflation, I think the sonata ii back when I bought it was around $120-130 and the pro is only $100 9-10yrs later. For it's price it's a solid case. They kept the price down while throwing in a metal psu cover (perk) and a decent accessory pack compared to most other cases. Plus customer service was a pleasure (not something often said of most companies these days).

Someone asked about replacing the enthoo windows with different plexi, I'm sure it's possible. Might have to be thinner plexi (the stock window is molded to recess into the cutout so it's flush with the exterior of the panel). There are a number of thin metal tabs around the edges though that can be gently bent open and pushed back into place.
