What nobody thinks that "Brokeback Mountain" is the greatest modern western ?

Ha Ha. A lot of people in my area of Midwestern USA had no clue about the, ahem, theme of "Brokeback Mountain" - the trailer was not widely released for whatever reason.

Anyway, a friend's family went to see the movie in a packed theater and apparently when the movie got to the "good parts", people started groaning: "Oh no, oh hell NO!" The theater emptied out fairly quickly after that!

Anyone remember the fights in Bridget Jones' Diaries (the first one is way better)?
I don't think I've ever seen a more "realistic" fight scene - it's well choreographed it doesn't look choregraphed. Anyone who's actually witnessed a "real" fight will know what I mean.
Having said all that, the Princess Bride sword fight is my personal number one, but I'm a huge Jackie Chan fan - the fight on top of a building in "Who Am I" between Jackie and (eventually) two bad guys is absolutely superb!
Maybe someone could come up with the top 10 martial arts fights?

I was wondering if anyone saw Jean Claude Van Damme’s first movie called -No Retreat No Surrender- It has great fight scenes.
I also like the fight scene in -Saving Private Ryan- where the American soldier fights the German soldier in the abandon house and it ends with a knife in the American soldier chest with the German saying shh!

I just remembered a movie I haven't seen in at least 10 years called The Best of The Best. I remember it had something to do with a fighting championship in a 'coliseum', and there was a Mongolian fighter with razor blades attached to the end of his ponytail.

Anyone else know about this movie?

I second the "Who Am I" vote . . . Jackie Chan really explodes in that final fight scene and on top of a high rise. And as much as I admire Chan's athleticism and creativity in other movies, the clubhouse fight in "Rumble in the Bronx" and the pachinko parlor fight in "Thunderbolt" are 2 of my favorites.

"Commando" deserves to be there. cheesy. macho. bullsh*t. Ah-nuhld versus the biker dude from "Road Warrior". total homo-erotic footage.

"Let off some steam, bennet!"
