Top 5 AMD processors currently out?

Just wondering what the top 5 AMD processors are currently?

A10- 5800K
FX 6300
Some Phenoms X4 II (not sure)

u know, Intel's mid-high range beats out those AMD CPU's, and the higher end i5's and i7's demolish anything AMD has...

I myself prefer intel because i feel they are superior but i was arguing with a friend and i dont know too many AMD processors so i wanted to find the top 5 and compare them against high end intel processors

You need to compare products by price, not by their respective flagships. For example, you wouldn't compare an Charger to an Enzo Ferrari. They are completely two different classes.

The top tier should be compared, in my eyes atleast, and as for price i believe an intel processor at 150 $ would beat an AMD processor at 150$ any day but i am not here to argue, just find out the top 5 processors so i can look into them. Thank you all for your replies

Ignore everyone else, this man is correct. Benchmarks prove this.

Depends on what you see as a good CPU if per core performance is most important then:

Piledriver
Thuban
Deneb
Trinity
Bulldozer

However if you look at best overall CPUs...

FX 83xx
Thuban
FX 81xx
FX 6300
Deneb

Only the FX 83xx and FX 6300 are a good bang for the buck.

AMD just scratched their way back into the CPU value equation with Piledriver: ($130 price point)

I kinda agree with you. I would put the FX-6300 somewhere though. If I had some benchmarks, maybe it would replace the X6 Phenom's.
