Tork - problem

I'm at the Red Boran boss in Moon Lake and cannot kill him. (We're
both on an island where he attacks Tork with boomerangs and jumps over
him then Tork hits his back.) Here's the problem: every time the
boss gets near the end of his health bar he stops attackingTork and
freezes. Tork cannot hurt the boss who seems frozen in time, but Tork
can still attack, run, jump. Turning into a Yeti and doing shockwaves
or hitting this boss does nothing. I've tried this battle 4-5 times
with the same result.

Obviously I can't continue in the game until this boss is dead, but I
can't do anything to him. Thinking it might be the disk I exchanged
it, but this new one is the same. Any help would be greatly
appreciated as I've been enjoying this game up to now and I'm only on
the first part.

This is farther along than I have gotten (controlls and camera are just not
that good), but isn't there some kind of "fire weapon" you should have to
un-freeze this boss?

Thanks for the tip which gave me the incentive to have another go at
it. I looked for a fire weapon, which was a great idea, but there was
none. However, I did manage to finish him off before I got to the
point where he freezes, so I guess that was what I should have done
all along.

I agree with you that the camera is the pits in this game, however
after a hard day at work, it is just the kind of mindless adventure I
need to unwind.

write to me and I'll let you know how to pass it (I don't want to
spoil it for everyone here).

SPOILER FOLLOWS:



You have to kill him as soon as you hear that you have enough power to
turn into a yeti. Soon after that he'll jump around in a frenzy. Now
go up to him, turn into a yeti and do a shockwave. Even though he
isn't near the end of his health bar, he will die right then and
there.
