Ok, now because Lord Microsoft finally added support for a new hardware features to compensate for it's terrible caching layer (controlled by a few buttons and checkboxes), hardware vendors can cherish the new features since their purpose of existence is to make hardware for Windows.
 


That was his point I believe. SATA will be using the AHCI protocol. Since this is on the PCIE interface I get it, why make it use SATA / AHCI and not NVME. Seems like an arbitrary bottleneck.
