The previously fully functional Toshiba HDD & DVD / Video Cassette Recorder RDXV59DTKB has a fault. Five LEDs (on/off + Dubbing + VCR + HDD + DVD) continuously blink on and off and RDXV59DTKB does not work. Have searched through pdf of the RDXV59DTKB Owner's Manual and did not find this fault condition or solution.

Our Samsung T31D310 LED TV's source menu now says "No Signal" from RDXV59DTKB.

Has anyone had this fault and can provide solution to reinstate fully functional Toshiba RDXV59DTKB? Thank you.

The cover has been removed and it seems that all recorders are active and 'locked' in a cycle of not doing anything. RDXV59DTK does not respond to the remote control. Although the VCR cassette is not present, the VCR toothed wheels (Gears) are trying to incrementally tension a VCR tape. Not sure why the HDD is rotating. The DVD tray will not motor out.

The HDD has been removed and Paragon Hard Disk Manager says data is present, there are no bad sectors and the Master Boot Record is not corrupted.

Have searched for, but not found a Factory Reset facility.

Internet forum discussion of the five indicators continuing to blink fault, has not been found.
