Hi, everyone I need some help with a Toshiba Satellite C855-2F7 laptop that I have been given to fix for my uncle the problem is that the laptop will not boot into Windows on-screen error message reads the following below.
"Your PC needs to be repaired, The operating system couldn't be loaded because the system registry file is missing or contains errors"
File: \WINDOWS\system32\config\system
Error code: 0xc000014c"
I have tried booting into the Windows 8 recovery disk to run SFC /SCANNOW but all I'm getting is "Windows resource protection cannot perform the requested operation"
Just wondering what you guys would do in this situation?
