Toshiba write DMI (serial) utility

Replaced motherboard on a toshiba qosmio x505 and need to update serial / product number. Cannot find any utilities to do this on toshiba website. I have an old utility from m* series but recieve an EC_PORT_READ fail after flash EEPROM Start Offset : 0
Modify Serial Number String fail!

Can someone point me in the write direction?
