Dunno. I've been on the white phone to god several times, and I've never
managed to view life beyond the confines of that room.

Mind you, that magazine vanished some years ago, didn't it?

> Or to stop the faucet known as a "nose"?

Blobs. Yates "Aussie White", hot water, sugar and lemon. They might not
stop the 'faucet', but such drinks bring a little relief.

A long soak in a hot Radox bath. Dunno if you merrycans can get Radox
though.

I shall sacrifice a sacrifical sacrifice to the god of flames that resides
at cdnews@comcast.net.

Hehe, I'd like to say I'm sorry, but there is a little sadistic streak in
me. Nice to know others have it now (I had it last month)

<gasps> Oh WOW. They ship!! And look- there's links to all
sorts of delights!! I'll bet I can find some very good black tea here!
Oh and teapots! Indian curry- yum.
*This* link will be well-worn soon, thank you!

I got too dehydrated from flu a few years back, went into tremors, and had
an ambulence come get me. Spent the evening in the emergency ward soaking
up a few bags of saline before they were willing to send me home. Had to
get my heart checked first to make the doctor happy. The first hour was ok,
as I was out of it. After that it was Boring Central, as I couldn't get
comfortable to sleep and was too edgy to read.

The most cool part was that the ambulance attendant who started my IV was
named "Igor". ;)

I daren't ask if that's for both parties involved.

As much as I dislike Yorkshire, the brand "Yorkshire Tea" is very good.

.... I also dislike tea in general.

Sorry, wasn't my intent to upset you. Just was a failed attempt at humor.

No, really? Far be it for me to chide, though.

First mistake. Hurt people. Poke them with sharp sticks, and call them
ratbastards. I hear that helps.

Oh WOW, clear across the country, almost. We're in Yuma,
Arizona just in case you missed my feverish ramble the other night.
But my hometown is Athens, about 60 miles northeast of y'all.

And no, Tribes is still a few days off for me. Whoof.

Ayep, that's "old enough". ;)

Damn, a month from now I'll have no clue what decade
of life you're in. Welcome to my fifties..................

I think that flu gets around via jet plane these days, and it can move a
long way in a short time.
Hunker down, it won't last forever, it just will feel like it.
