Question touch screen exchange to none touch

i was a dell inspiron 15 5000 with a touch screen but it's bust, i have spare lcd's 15.6 that are none touch screen
i was wondering if i could put one of my spare lcd's in laptop, would it work.

You will need to use the same panel that's on your laptop in order to regain the touch functionality apart from getting visual output from the screen.

Are you referring to using an external display/panel? If so, what is the make and model of your external panel?

so can i use a none touch screen panel in place of a touch screen panel, in the laptop, i do not want to buy a replacement touch screen panel, laptop is not worth it to me.
