Question Touchpad not working

I have a ASUS Vivobook s14 x411uf with i7-8550U CPU with 16 GB RAM
I turned my laptop off with the keyboard button instead of shutting down, and when i turned it back on the touchpad wouldnt work, the cursor wont appear and it'd only work when i use a mouse. My drivers are up to date, the f9 button (the one to turn on and off the touchpad) hasnt been working for about a year now but it hadnt really bothered me. Any suggestions?

scroll down to Pointing Device and install it in an elevated command, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.
