Transfer of Hard Drives to new PC

Hi guys, I am at the point where I have built the components up on my new PC and am ready to transfer just my Hard Drives and GPU to the new build.

Is it just a matter of plug and play and let Windows sort itself out or do I need to do anything else?

I know I will have to order the bios to boot from my OS drive and perhaps set my new RAM timings, but other than that I am a bit stumped……

The hdd will also have the drivers from the old build. So you'll need to update them all to suit your new pc

Yeah, but the system should be able to sort this out?

Not really. You should got to each device in Control Panel Device manager and check if its working and whether it has the latest drivers
