transfering a single hdd to a raid 0 and ssd

In my current setup I am running a single hdd. I would like to set up two new hdds in raid 0 and put the os on a ssd. I then want to use my current hdd as a backup. After setting up the raid, how do I go about transferring the os from the "backup" to the ssd and the rest of the "backup" to the raid?

I have tried to look online but finding reference to what I am trying to do has proven difficult. Is it as easy as dragging files? Any information would prove valuable.

Without know what you have, I dont know if its even possible.
Which raid card do you have or are you using motherbd ports? Which Motherbd?

I am setting up the raid 0 through the motherboard. It is a MSI 970A-G43.
