Question Transferring data to new storage drive

I currently have an HDD as my storage drive but am thinking about upgrading to an M.2. How should I transfer the data to the M.2 and have the files working properly?

You can use Samsung Data Migration Software for Consumer:

Note: Some solidstate drives come with data migration software.
