Once you've destroyed the front two poison sacs, hit 'roll' to retarget the
back two. That should do it.

As posted holster your weapons, then run right at Boaz, veering off to one
side as you get close, then draw weapons and fire at the rear pods. I had
to keep "re-targeting" the rear pods because the clumsy oaf would switch
to targeting the front pods every now and then.

Holster your weapons when you're running. When you get some distance away
and redraw the pistols they will target the remaining pods.
