Hi,
So I installed my 3 LG27GL650F monitors 2 days and plugged them in my PC, but I found out that the mount is directly over two monitor's displayports. Since my RTX 2070S only has 3 DP and 1 HDMI ports, I bought a HDMI to DP passive adapter. So now 1 screen is connected via DisplayPort, 1 via HDMI and 1 via the HDMI-DP passive adapter. However, I just found out that, probably since its a passive adapter, I can only play on 60hz max instead of the 144hz the screens have.
So my idea is this: I dont want to spend over 100 euros for an active adapter, so I want to saw off a small part of the mount in order to give room for the Display port. Will 2 DisplayPort and 1 HDMI connection give me 120/144Hz using Nvidia Surround or do I strictly need to plug it in all 3 displayports of my RTX 2070S?
Thanks!
