Hello,
I've been trying to install windows 10 on both my SSD or HDD since yesterday to no avail so I'm comming to you in the hope that you could help me.
My setup is:
Motherboard: Asus TUF Gaming B550 plus
CPU: Ryzen 3600
GPU: Pny RTX 3070
Alimentation : MSI MPG A750GF
HDDs: Seagate 1to
SSD: Kingston hyperx fury 120Gb
I have windows 10 already installed on one of my HDDs as it was my old computer setup, and this old computer is still booting fine when I connect it but this doesn't work on the new PC. I created a bootable USB to reinstall windows completely on my SSD/other HDD but it doesn't work either.
When I use the bootable USB (16Gb USB in Fat32 done with the Microsoft tool from their website) + SSD with my motherboard set with CSM disabled, I can install windows 10 on it fine but it will reboot & try to reinstall it again. If I pull out the USB while it's restarting, I end up booting on my BIOS and the SSD isn't recognized as bootable device. View: https://imgur.com/a/psRgE10
When I use it with CSM enabled View: https://imgur.com/a/KxpZS9h
(I didn't try changing these basic settings because idk what I'd be doing) my SSD is recognized as a bootable device View: https://imgur.com/a/G8y4oLf
but it still doesn't work View: https://imgur.com/a/qkCySMc
If I try to redo the windows installation with my USB I need to convert my SSD from GPT to MBR which I already tried but didn't work. For my HDD I also did MBR to GPT but didn't work either.
I'm kind of lost and would like to get your opinion on what could be the problem, my motherboard maybe ?
Sorry this is a long post but I wanted it to be as precise as possible so you could help me better. Thanks for your help.
