Hey all,

I've been trying to figure out how to OC my Pentium, but I'm having trouble finding the multiplier in the BIOS of my motherboard (AsRock B85M-DGS). I've checked and the motherboard is OC compatible. Am I missing something here?

Specs:
Intel Pentium G3258 (stock cooler)
Radeon R9 285 Powercolor turboduo OC 2GB
AsRock B85M-DGS
8 GB RAM
500W PSU

It may depend on your os and bios level.

Intel and windows 10 do not like such cpu overclocking on a non Z motherboard.
At one time, there was a bios level that did accomplish such overclocking.
I do not know if it is available at the asrock web site or if it has been pulled and is only available from some other source.

Google will likely find it for you.

So I guess that would mean I would have to downgrade to Windows 7 or something like that and the bios in order to achieve overclocking?
