Question Trouble with Low-Spec Games: Black Screens & Crashes

I'm facing a recurring issue that's quite vexing. While I can smoothly run graphically demanding titles or games with medium specifications on max settings without encountering any noticeable problems, I'm consistently experiencing black screens and system crashes when attempting to play less resource-intensive games. These issues occur after approximately 30 minutes of gameplay or even when launching any low-spec game. Despite monitoring, my GPU doesn't seem to overheat during these instances, leaving me perplexed about the underlying cause. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Solutions tried
- Lowering mhz clock in afterburner
- Simply updating gpu drivers

Why would you assume that it's the GPU?
Have you looked through the system logs to see if they have any useful clues?
