Turned my PC after being away for a couple of months to be greeted by this issue, was working perfectly beforehand. Basically the PC turns on and lights up, all the fans spin etc, but the display doesn't seem to be getting any signal. I've separately checked the monitor with my laptop and it works fine. Specs/configuration can be seen here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3NqxL9. It's currently running Windows 10 64 bit. The BIOS was updated to the latest version a couple of months ago with no issues, and the two Corsair RAM sticks are also fairly recent additions, although they were working fine the week before I left.

Things I've tried, none have worked so far:
  • Switching off and on again (many times)
  • Removing all extra external/internal drives (except extra M.2 that I couldnt be bothered to remove) and boot
  • Reseat all RAM sticks and boot
  • Tried to boot with 2 RAM sticks, then with each one individually (in second slot)
  • Removed Wi-Fi card and GPU (with 1 RAM stick in slot 2)
  • Tried clearing CMOS by shorting the two pins
Observations:

  • DRAM debug light appears and disappears as normal, but CPU light does not
  • No lights on keyboard or mouse.
  • Fans possibly spinning faster than usual

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix? Happy to replace parts if needed as I recognise they're getting old, but having trouble isolating the issue to any particular components (either PSU, mobo, or GPU).

Try reseating the 24 pin and 8 pin CPU power connector. Maybe reseat the CPU too.

Try and see if you can borrow a GPU from someone else to rule that out.
I've removed the PSU and tested the cables/pins with a multi-meter, PSU appears to be fine so it's not that. Will try reseating the CPU.

Not sure where I could get a GPU from sadly.
