Troubleshooting toshiba satellite laptop

Hello,
I am having a problem powering on the laptop. The yellow light to the far left is blinking. I may need a new AC power cord. Is there any other remedy to get power. Battery is dead as well.

Gerbels in a treadmill ?

Replace your battery if it is dead.

Laptop does not define what machine you have, but if that light is power light, believe it. Go to your mfg site and/or check your user manual.
