I'm doing my first build. I've chosen the Apevia X-SniperG-BL case. I plan on overclocking an i7 to ~3.8 GHz.

The two sinks I am looking at, the TRUE 120 & the Scythe Mugen 2, are 160mm tall and 158 mm tall (respectively). I read in a review that for the case I have chosen, I shouldn't choose a heat sink taller than 155 mm! I'm wondering if these sinks will be able to fit in this case. I really want this case, and I don't want to sacrifice CPU cooling. What do I do?!

Where to start, OK, that case is 8" wide with a side fan. You probable won't get either one to fit with the side fan in, so that leaves you with only one rear fan (NOT GOOD). You want to OC to 3.8 Ghz, the heat the processor will put out will depend on the CPU voltage applied to it. If it's a D0 stepping you should be able to run it with less voltage, hence less quality (& smaller) Heat Sink. If it's a C0/C1 stepping that fancy blue case won't cut it. If you have the processor then you know what stepping you have and can Google/TH search what others have been getting for temps at that OC and decide from there as to what cooler will be needed or what case mods (additional fans) might have to be done.

I was going to add a fan to the front and have the rear and the side fan. Maybe I could just get a smaller heat sink? Any recommendations on heat sinks? I REALLY want this case!!
