[SOLVED] Trying to enable multiple displays with igpu and graphics card

Hello. Trying to run dual monitors using gpu and igpu. It's my understanding that igpu needs to be forced on in the bios, but even when forced, it is still set to off after restarting. I have only hdmi compatible monitors, and the gpu has only one hdmi port. Money and resources are an issue, so can't run out and buy anything

Can you use a dvi or dp to hdmi adapter?

The onboard display will work by itself-if the graphics card is removed enitrely. I could probably adapters if I had the money for them. I'm poor people lol

It is the motherboard bios that disables the integrated graphics when it detects a discrete graphics card.
Windows has no problem with multiple display adapters.
Possibly there is a bios update that addresses this.

A DVI to hdmi adapter is cheap. The first one I found is $8.52

So even if the igpu has an option in bios to be forced, I'm basically out of luck short of getting some kind of adapter or other hardware? Also as a side note, when I say poor, I mean pooooor. I'm hoping to get disability
