Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

After seeing the melting connectors saga unfold(with CableMod and their widespread recall), I'll advise sticking to the supplied harness/adapter that comes with the GPU;

You could also look at this;
https://www.corsair.com/us/en/p/pc-...-5-12v-2x6-600w-cable-type-4-white-cp-8920332
after learning the unit you have is Type 4 on the PCIe ends;
https://www.corsair.com/us/en/s/legacy-psu-cable-compatibility
though you might want to double check with Corsair's support too.

How old is your PSU and what did it power prior to today?

Hey, TY! TBH, ive poked around Toms for years now, just never signed up in forums, Truth be Told, Toms helped me learn to build my first pc as well as others just by finding answers i needed when i needed em.

So, i had a MSI Gaming X Trio 3060Ti on my PSU prior to the 5060Ti . I am a 1080p Gamer so my "needs" are more or less easily met lol. I bought the PSU on 2/4/2021 brand new from Best Buy. And yeah , i may end up just sending the extension back and letting Cablemod and others cook for awhile with some trial and error. I can always just get some colored Self Closing Mesh Cable Wraps like i have on my AIO tubes for the time being i suppose. Thanks again !
