Question Trying to flash bios in ez flash 2 on m5a78l-m/usb3 motherboard

I have an asus m5a78l-m/usb3 and i wanted to flash the bios back to an earlier version because im having troubles. I wrote an earlier bios rom file from their official driver page onto a usb 2.0 sancruzer flash drive. I formatted it both ntfs and fat32 and it said there was no update file when i tried to use it in asus ez flash 2. Now when i put the usb in it doesnt even show it on ez flash. Any advice or is this motherboard toast? Keep in mind earlier this week i was messing with overclocking and voltages and may have messed up at some point along the way, but cant say for sure because the motherboard posts and goes to the bios just fine.

Compressed .zip files need to be unpacked prior to running EZ Flash2.

I did unzip the folder i was trying with the rom file, unless i suddenly need to try and extract the rom file now?!
