Turtle beach's X12 vs. Gamecom 380

I bought the Gamcom 380 around 2 years ago. I am happy with the audio but the recording could be better.

Would the recording in the X12's be better than this?

If you want sound quality, stay away from TB. If you are serious about recording getting a stand alone mic would be the best choice, if not something like the logitech G35 is better. Anything under 100 dollars is not worth it in terms of audio quality.
