Dear All,
I have bought a tv tuner but the software that came on it needs to be
install with Direct X 8.0 or previous version (later versions can be
installed AFTER the software itself is installed). I already have Direct X
9.0 and doesn't want to reinstall my PC anyway to roll back to the previous
version of Direct X?
Thanks for the help.

Check with the manfacturer to see if there is an update. If you had XP with
SP2 install CD, you can not use DirectX 8.
