I would like to play PC games at 1080p ultra settings and stream at the same time. I originally was planning on purchasing a high(ish) gaming pc and using a single pc setup. Core i9, 2080ti, 32 gb 4000mhz ram. After hearing that a dual pc setup was far superior mainly do to CPU drain from streaming I am unsure about how to proceed. I will give my 2 scenarios for my streaming setup and would like advice on which would work better. I prefer using a single pc, as streaming off of it with 2 monitors would make streaming a piece of cake. But I dont want my gaming or streaming quality to suffer.

Single pc setup:
10 or 12 core i9 xtreme cpu
2080ti
32gb 4000mhz ram

Would an xtreme 10-14 core chip offset the issues that plague single pc setups?

Dual pc setup:
Gaming:
8 core i9 9900k
Rtx 2080
32 gb 4000mhz ram

Streaming:
8 core i7
Rtx 1660
16gb 3000mhz ram
Elgato 4k60

I know the rtx in the streaming pc is overkill, but the custom pc maker I'm choosing that's the lowest they offer.

If price was similar. Would you choose that single pc setup, or still stick with dual pcs for streaming and gaming? Thanks for any input!

I see. I'd rather get 120+fps to a monitor and stream at 60fps if possible. Price for the single pc setup with plenty of cooling and other upgrades I am sitting at about 4500-5500 through cyberpowerpc. If I go dual pc setup it will be 2 nzxt machines. Streaming pc would be about 1500, gaming would be about 2500-3500 with extra harddrives cooling upgrades etc. So either way I'm looking at roughly the same price either way. I'd rather stream on 1 due to seamless audio/video. But can do 2 if I absolutely need to.
